KITAS question for partner (Bali)

My partner has been offered a job in Bali so we are hoping to move from the UK within the next few months. I think the visa he will need is a KITAS, but can anyone tell me if they will grant me a visa on the grounds that I'm his parter of 15 years and mother to our 2 children? Or do I need to prove I can work there?
