living cost in Bali

Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone has an estimate for monthly living cost in Bali. Where do you recommend living and why? I am more interested in nature, safety, and a diverse culture of expats and locals.
I read about Deux motorcycle shop, Ubud coworking space. I am interested in custom cafe racers as hobby and startups. These two are 30km apart from each other. Are these two different cities or towns?
If anyone lived in Istanbul before could message me I will be thankful.
