Want to participate in the European Film Festival? (Bali)

ATTN Irish and Dutch residents in Bali:

I am writing on behalf of Yayasan Solemen Indonesia (charity organization who helps the severely disabled and disadvantaged in Bali) to ask if you or someone you know would like to participate in this year’s European Onscreen Film Festival on May 3rd & 4th, Protected content , hosted by Yayasan Solemen Indonesia at the spectacular Pan Pacific Hotel in Tabanan. As this charity and cultural event is to support the disadvantaged in Bali the films featured in the festival are being shown free of charge.

This is an excellent opportunity for those involved, as the festival is being publicized nationally and internationally along with all local participants being promoted as well.

The event will be held in Pan Pacific's open-air amphitheater overlooking the ocean - the first film festival to take place in such a beautiful environment! On Saturday, May 3rd, we will be showing the Irish film 'Grabbers' and May 4th the Dutch film 'Family Way'. From 5pm - 7pm the hotel will have a Happy Two Hours providing buy 1 get 1 free drinks, after which the films will be shown at 7pm each night.

We are looking for ideas on how we can create and promote the Irish and Dutch atmosphere on each evening of the festival, and are reaching out to you with the opportunity to provide this.

The hotel will be providing food and Guinness each evening. We are looking for possibly a resident local Irish band that may be able to perform for a short session before and possibly after the film. We also invite local Irish/Dutch companeis to set up a booth to sell merchandise (t-shirts, mugs, etc.) as an opportunity to promote themselves at the festival. If you have any other ideas to amp up the Irish or Dutch theme, we would love your input (decor, other Irish/Dutch themed activities, etc.).

We will need to confirm details of participation by latest next Monday evening as this is the deadline for our advertisement in the Bali Advertiser in which your particular involvement will be promoted.
