Water Quality In Sanur (Bali)

Hello, everybody. I'm currently staying in Sanur and noticed that the tap water has a very strong smell, far more noticeabe than anywhere else I've been in Bali. Is there a reason (and hopefully a bengn, reason for this? Thanks.
