Motorbike (Bamako)

I will shortly be moving to Bamako (1st July) - and wanted to take my motorbike with me (BMW). Unfortunaltely, this brand seems unknown in Mali - at least what concerns maintenance.
As alternative I was looking into Yamaha and (preferrably) Honda. Can anybody share some advise / knowledge on bike shops / maintenance of these two brands in Bamako. Do they exist and can they handle different types?
As I am in the process of packing my container I would very much appreciate any advise.
