Difficulties obtaining an FRRO (Bangalore)

My husband and I will be moving to India in the first quarter of Protected content in Bangalore. However his company ( a French company) is registered and based in Delhi – they have no offices in Bangalore.

We have been told that we will have problems obtaining the FRRO as our home address and my husbands work address will not be in Delhi!!!

Do you know if it is possible to get an FRRO in these circumstances and if so the best way to approach it?

Any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated.
