Eating Vegetables (Bangalore)

I'm on a health kick lately but am fearful of eating vegetables/salads here because of the water they are washed in. Can someone recommend a good market to buy them in? Or a place to buy vegetable cleaner (spray)? Am I being ridiculous or should I be concerned? Still new here. Thanks everyone.
