Home Buying Bangalore 101?

Howdy! For some years we've been villa renters but the contract is ending next year. Considering buying a place somewhere around Electronics City but looking at the ads and web sites, it's really confusing with the acronyms, etc.
Wondering if anyone can recommend a web site with good honest info about the purchase process for expats here, what to look out for, bank loan process, etc.
The Fundamentals, so we have a good idea of the overview. May not end up buying but would like to have a better idea what we're getting into. Only previous home purchase experience was one time 12 years ago in the US.
