How to get your prescription medicine? (Bangalore)

Hello,

I am new to Bangalore and am nearing the end of my prescription medication that I brought with me. I need to find a good specialist who will prescribe them for me. What would be the best way/place to look for a specialist? Also, I've heard that prescription drugs can be iffy here because there aren't the same regulations as in the U.S. Once I get my prescription written, where are the most reputable pharmacies to get them filled?
