Moving to Bangalore with a 2 year old

Hi all- just found out that we are relocating to Bangalore from Hong Kong early next year... I'm very excitied! We will be living in Palm Meadows. Does anybody have any resources or tips on how to get to know other families and kids before we move, are there any groups i.e. here the big one is called Hong Kong Moms. I'm having difficulties trying to research schools and activities from abroad and would love to ask some other parents! Or just for anyone, what was the most important thing you wish you had known before yuo got there? Thanks!
