Registering at the Foreigners office (Bangalore)

I would like to know if there are any services I can use to register at the foreigners office. I am here on an entry visa with my 3 kids. My huband is empliyed at the SSSIHMS. He registered himself and this took him more than 3 days, I cant so to this office with my 3 kids and wait a whole day to get registered. I am not working either. I just dont know where to begin. I have 3 children under 12yrs, I also need to get a student visa so I can enrol them in a school to study. Any help would be appreciated.
