What is R T Nagar like? (Bangalore)

Hi all, I am temporarily moving to R T Nagar in October. I may stay there for longer depending on the location of my final field site in Bangalore and on the area itself. I was wondering if anyone here lives in R T Nagar and if so, whether they have any general info on the area such as safety tips and what is around etc. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
