Where to go with kids in Karnataka & surrounding (Bangalore)

Hello! I will have family visiting us in Bangalore and we are looking for some places for them to visit in Karnataka. I see there is a national park here, but it concerns me they do elephant rides. We are looking for responsible tourism options only and absolutely nothing that supports cruelty to animals. Any suggestions? Thanks!
