Certified English teacher seeking work for August. (Bangkok)
I'm a certified (PGCE) and experienced English teacher: My girlfriend and I are moving to Bangkok in August for her work (also teaching) but I haven't found a permanent job at short notice. We're both outgoing, positive, friendly and excited to move! Just need some hot tips on getting some work...
I've been teaching 8 years and have specialised in the Cambridge exams, teaching EAL/ESL and am also able to teach other subjects like Classics, History, Religion and Media. I'm pretty flexible and always glad to turn my hand to a new skill. I recently completed a Masters in Religion/Theology (for which I got a Distinction) and have previously been a Deputy in Faculty for an English Department in Bristol, UK.
I'm open to anything currently: tuition, short term cover, adult education or even professional writing jobs as I also have experience in this area.
Failing that, a bit of sound advice or networking would go a long way. If you know of anyone who needs a friendly, engaging teacher then point them my way!
