Immigration closing for Holidays... (Bangkok)

Folks...this is a re-post from another site. I am NOT an expert on this, so can offer little advice. Just to make people aware that the Holidays tend to shut Thailand down, so plan accordingly. The following is copy / paste...I hope it is accrate and helpful.

Immigration announces the following:

Immigration Division 1 will be closed on Protected content , Protected content Protected content , 2012. Foreigners who residing in Bangkok can do Re-entry Permit, Extension stay permit and Notify of staying longer than 90 days in advance before long weekend on office hour. For more details call Protected content

Re-entry Permit stop services on Saturday 7 and 14 April, Protected content Suan Plu Office

Immigration Offices outside Bangkok will be closed likewise.

For a re-entry permit: For a re-entry permit,if you are in Bangkok area and you have an Internet access, you could fill in a TM. 8 form and send it to Protected content — You should e-mail the completed form 1 day in advance. — You have to submit a 2" photo and pay a permit fee at counter 7, the Immigration Bureau (soi suanplu office.) — Fee for re-entry permit:
1,000 Bahts for single
3,800 Bahts for multiple
