Position Title: Financial Controller
Area of Business: Finance
Site: Bangkok
Reports To: Director and GM
Key Relationships:
Manages: Bookkeeper
Role Brief: To assist the Director and GM in the preparation, analysis and reporting of the company’s financial information, status and progress against the company’s financial objectives.
Key Duties:
• Conducting and managing all month end procedures, including adjusting journals and general ledger reconciliations
• Overseeing /Preparation of all tax returns including BAS, PAYG, PAYROLL TAX and WORKCOVER.
• Management of Payroll and leave entitlements
• Preparation and compilation of annual financial reports and audit files
• Manage account receivable and payable
• Correspond and coordinate international financial activity with suppliers and sister companies
• Resolving accounting issues and discrepancies
• Ensuring general ledger integrity
• Business process improvement & Risk assessment
• Internal audit and Ad hoc analysis work
• Assisting in treasury activity
• Assisting with budget and forecast preparation and updates
• Other financial projects where you will be challenged
• Stock take management
Key Skills and Competencies:
• Technical Knowledge - Technical Knowledge
o Solid experience and knowledge of Tax law
o Knowledge of monthly accounting reports

Experience and Education:
• Proven contributor to a Finance team
• Strong all-round communication skills
• Ideally Protected content experience in similar environment
• Experience in an IT / online and retail company ideal
• Solid understanding of multicurrency environment
• Experience managing multiple profit centres
• Ability to take responsibility and ownership for the development and implementation of small to medium process improvement projects
• An energetic, can-do and proactive approach
• Proven attention to detail
• Track record of meeting deadlines and producing excellent reports
• Excellent interpersonal, communication skills both online and offline
• Excellent understanding and experience of ERP systems
• Excellent Excel working knowledge
• An Accounting/commerce degree, preferably CPA/CA accredited or towards
