What to do (Banjul)

Hi!

Would be in Gambia again soon and wondering if there are other things to see and do asides from seeing Kachikally, Makasutu Culture Forest etc

R there any nice restaurants, bars, clubs? R they safe, easy to get to? no hassles
How is the nightlife generally?

As the last time I went, we were told not to go out at night very often, wasn't safe for visitors etc. This correct? Im doubting...

I would normally just chill on the beach which is perfect!! but hoping to do more when I get in! : )
