Advice from long-term residents in Barcelona -

Hello Everybody! My husband and I will relocate to beautiful Barcelona and would greatly appreciate if long-term residents (more than 3 years) could tell us about their accumulative daily life experiences, both positive and negative. What would you do differently if you moved to Barcelona today? We've lived long-term in many large cities (Miami, Paris, New York) and know that a person's perspective changes through time. What is the reason to stay long-term in Barcelona or what drives people to leave the city? Many thanks for your advice. :)
