Do you reocmmend Castelldefels/others for living? (Barcelona)

Hi Barcelona community,

We are considering moving from Germany to Barcelona / the Barcelona area and I would love to know which locations around Barcelona you would recommend for living? We are a family with two children (4 and 1), speaking German and Spanish (my husband is from Argentina, I am German).

We were looking at Castelldefels as an alternative but I would love to understand if locals and expats recommend the city, and in that case, which neighborhoods??

Or, if you would recommend any other location around? (considering that work would most probably be in Martorell and/or Barcelona).

Also, any experiences about El Prat de Llobregrat or Esplugues de Llobregrat (for being next to the German School) ?
