E-communication Coordinator in multinational (Barcelona)

For one of our clients, an important American multinational leader in the IT industry, we are looking for an E-communication Coordinator (with Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish or Finnish)

Job description

In this position, you will:

1/ Manage and lead electronic mail communication operations
• Manage the complete electronic distribution mail process for your respective country(s)

• Create/Manage the communication/media calendar to ensure the right mix and frequency of communications to partners

• Perform quality checks of all submitted content to ensure content relevance and language accuracy

• Translate English content to local language as necessary

• Upload content into the direct mailing system including modifying artwork if necessary

• Identify contacts to communicate to based on business definitions using the company’s Partner Relationship Management system (Data Mining / Manipulation)
-Understand how profiling works in order to extract information based on business requirements and company privacy guidelines
-Identify gaps and inconsistencies and submit them back to the profiling team for correction
-Provide profiling change requests based on results of emailed communication results to the profiling team

• Perform quality checks of the system generate email ensuring correct alignment and proper functioning prior to final communication to partners

• Send out communication based on established EMEA process

• Perform business analytics – interpret and summarize reports with conclusions and recommendations that are shared with stakeholders

• Gatekeeper of company standards including protecting personal information

• Participation in regular team activities (weekly calls, forums, etc.)

• Provide quarterly structured feedback on areas of improvement and best practices

• Work in close alignment with Portal Administrator
-Ensure that communication of material is in sync with Smart Portal publications
-Function as Portal Administrator backup as required.

2/ Manage and lead local activates for EMEA projects
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing as required

• Local project management for EMEA campaigns

• Native in at least one of the following languages: Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish
• High command of English
• Outstanding language skills (oral/written)
• Excellent editorial skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Must: Strong Proficiency with MS Office especially Excel, HTML editorial (FrontPage, SharePoint designer) knowledge or other html editors
• Understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS)
• Nice to have: Graphics editorial software (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, Captivate, Flash);
• Ability to work autonomously in a virtual environment with discussions occurring via telephone and desktop sharing
• Ability to manage and organize your time, be detail oriented and deliver consistently on schedule
