Looking for work with limited Spanish? (Barcelona)

Dear all,

I'm new to InterNations community. I currently live in Prague where I work as a social media strategist for a hotel/restaurant/bar; I've graduated from university in June in Journalism major.

I've recently had an epiphany I should move to Barcelona. I've had this in the back of my head but this time I've decided to finally make it happen and I'll be moving to a city in late February/early March. I've studied Spanish at school for 3 years but my Spanish is quite limited. I was curious about how hard is it to find a job in Barcelona when my Spanish is not that great - I've worked in a tourism industry for about 5 years but is it really crucial to speak Spanish?

I'll do my best to learn as much as I can prior to my arrival but I was wondering about that as I've read you can only try to teach English if you don't speak Spanish.

Muchas gracias por su ayuda!
