One night in Barcelona

Hi, I don't know Barcelona very well but I have to stay over on Wednesday night before catching an early flight the next day.

I'm arriving at Sants from Lyon. Could anyone direct me to a hotel that's in an interesting area with maybe some fun restaurants not too far from the station by cab ?

Also If anyone is up for a beer or two then more than happy to meet up.
