Socialising / Internet (Barcelona)

Hi ! I'm going to be arriving in Barcelona in January for 3 months as part of an excange programme on my university course. I will be coming with 2 other students. I was just wondering if there are any "british" themed bars etc? Any kind of hot spot cafes or bars would be a great help. We are ok with spanish but would prefer a bit of home talk aswell haha.

I was also wondering if anyone could help us with our internet situation. The flat we have rented does not come with internet and we have to set this up ourselves but we have no idea where to start. If anyone could help that would be great :)
