Space & Community Manager Needed (Barcelona)
We’re looking for a self-starter to make Apocapoc BCN the best possible experience for our members. You will be the primary contact for our members in our space and you will manage the space day-to-day. This is an entry level role where you will wear a few different hats, learning about the different departments which must work together to have a successful business. These are Operations (managing the Space and the Community), Sales (signing up new members), and Marketing (generating local interest). Although you will report directly to the general managers.

Entry Salary: Protected content / Month + result based bonuses

The salary is commensurate with entry-level experience.

Primary responsibilities will include:
*Fielding incoming membership inquiries whether by email, phone, or drop-ins.
*Perfecting the art of giving an effective tour including lttle talk with great coffee
*Timely and effective following up tailored to a prospect’s needs.
*Working with the local community, building relationships and bonds.
*Planning, coordinating and/or running onsite events, meetings, and office hours.
*Creating partnerships and/or sponsorships with local companies and organizations. *Collecting detailed information about the needs of each new member, creating an individualized “Drivers Sheet.”
*Building off a particular member’s “Drivers”, developing specific interaction points to get members engaged so they feel a part of the community.
*Determining members’ drivers for business success and personal happiness, finding ways to help members achieve these drivers.
*Working with colleagues to help members who want to broaden their network by making connections beyond your membership base.
*Maintaining the space to our quality standards, including the kitchen, coffee bar, office, and food & beverage supplies – all within a predetermined expense budget.
*Providing excellent service to members and guests by meeting their needs and expectations quickly and effectively, responding professionally and taking the initiative to improve service.
*Demonstrating enthusiasm, optimism, and integrity on the job.
*Demonstrating ownership of work activities, ensuring accuracy, punctuality, and willingness to pitch in whenever needed.
*Generating weekly reports in each of the three areas (Sales, Marketing, Space and Community.)
*Managing monthly billing.
*Proposing new systems to increase efficiency and/or to increase service to our community.
*Full understanding of the challenges of our time with a strong commitment to sustainability.
