Summer in Spain (Barcelona)

Hola!

I'll be heading to Spain on June 19th and planning to travel through Andalusia before heading north to Madrid and eventually end up in Barcelona as my last stop. I would love to meet new friends maybe for a drink, dinner, dance or do a trip together, whatever that sounds fun! I do hope to experience the real Spain. I have a rough itinerary and would appreciate any tips from anyone regarding places to go, places to stay and visit and interesting restaurants, local treasures!

SO far, my plan is to take the ferry to Algericas, bus to Tarifa, do whale watching, then head to Arcos for a night. Maybe do a trip to Jerez(is it worth it?), then visit Rhonda(a night). Go to Nerja. Should I bother with Marbella or Malaga? Of course visit Granada, and Sevilla before heading north to Cordoba, Toledo, Madrid(a few day trips from there). and then head to Barcelona. I'm flying out on July 16th.

My biggest question is how many days should I spend in Barcelona while experiencing it in full...? If you any tips or wanna meet up, email me here or at Protected content .
