Traveller in Barcelona.......

Hello,
In Brief am an engineer working in Norway and i like travelling. I have lived in more than 3 countries now but still fond of travelling and meeting new people.
this year am planning my vacations up north of spain and willl be landing in barcelona on 9th of august. so i just wanted to know if any one can accompany me for the local excursions on 10th and 11th the saturday and sunday.
i just need some language assistance and recommendations for local food as am a food freak.I am planning to rent a scooter for a day or two so any suggestions in that aspect would also be greatful. then i plan to continue my journey to pamplona san sebastien and way through san tiego.
