Visa restamping (Barcelona)

Hi!

I came to Barcelona on 7th Jan, Protected content . The same day, unfortunately my laptop bag which has the passport was stolen. I reported it to police and took the copy of the complaint. I applied for a new passport with the help of my Embassy (Indian) in Madrid.

I googled a lot for knowing the procedure to get the visa stamping on the new passport (I have the visa number). I'm staying here for 6 months till June 25th. But the visa was given for until April 14th and I was asked to extend it here. I also need to get a NIE. To top it, I did not yet learn Spanish/Catalan.

Can someone guide me out of this chaos? Thanks in advance!
