Basel as a city ! Pros and cons

Hi everyone !

I am considering taking a job in the area of Basel and that would mean move from Spain (quite a radical change) to there but I don't know anyone from there and I have no idea how everyday life would turn out to be and what would be the pros and cons about moving there. Can you guys share a little about your experience in Basel (or the surroundings) and how easily you adapted there ?
