Health Insurance for expats (Basel)

I have moved to Bubendorf and will be taking a language course beginning in about a week. Then in September I will start at the University of Lucerne applied sciences and arts for a 3 year degree. Because of the timing, I was granted a visitors visa for the first 6 months, then a student visa for the rest of the time. I found health care through Swiss care offering health care for about CHF 79 a month. This looks great but I am not sure this is ok for the government because it is an international company. Any suggestions for health care options at a fairly cheap price?
