Adventure near Beijing

I am new to BJ and looking for some adventurous activties and maybe some adventurous friends. Could be hiking, climbing, rafting etc. Perhaps even tour biking.
I have done a lot of backpacking, hiking and some climbing around US and hope to leverage my time here into some great outdoor experiences.
Let me know if anyone has good ideas and/or interest.
