Adventurous trip to Vietnam or other Asian country (Beijing)

Hi all,

I am thinking about travelling to Vietnam or any other destination (Asian country, except India and Thailand where I have been to).

I am seeking for any suggestions for period of Protected content and people who would like to join me. I would like to go for a backpack trip full of sighseeing rather than laying on beach. Active vacation is what I like.

Age and gender is not important. The only thing that matters is just to have fun.

Period for the trip is Protected content . Destination and period of trip can be changed or slightly modified.

I have already started looking in the Vietnam Lonely Planet. I have travelled around India, Sri Lanka and Thailand before.
