Beijing Language and Culture University

Hi all,

I am planning to spend a semester in Beijing and study Mandarin at the BLCU and was wondering if anyone here has any info on this place?

It looks like they have a good program for non-degree students who want to learn the language and that's what I'm looking for. It came as a recommendation from a friend I know who is from Hong Kong. I am currently in the application process (before committing any real money) and would like to know basically if this is a good choice.
