Broken Contract (Beijing)

Hi Everyone,
I am in Wuhan teaching English. I am having a very difficult time adjusting and am thinking about breaking my contract and either going back to the USA or finding another job somewhere else.
Can anyone give me some advice on how to adjust?
Please don't yell at me for I already know I am stupid but I am also depressed.
