China Post Mail to America (Beijing)

I haven't sent much mail. I planned to send a lot of gifts back to America for Christmas. I was told that my silly touristy trinkets were "cultural relics" and was not able to send them. Was a little put off, but that's the breaks, I worked around it.

Now, I plan to send some DVDs to friends and family in the U.S.. Should I anticipate any problems . . . or is it smooth sailing and happy smiles?
