Considering Moving to Beijing!

Hi everyone,

I was recently offered at a job in Beijing and am contemplating taking it!

I guess I'm excited about the prospect of moving to Beijing, but also have a couple of concerns. The biggest one is really the pollution. I've always lived in really clean-air cities where the sun shines more than not and am worried that the air pollution will have a big impact on my overall state of mind while living there.

What is your guys' experience? I wonder if I'm making it too big of a deal about it, or if it has made a big impact on your experience living there?

I'm from active, outdoorsy communities, are there opportunities to get out of the city and do any type of activity? Or maybe within the city?
