E-mail account acces in China? (Beijing)

Hi,

I will be travelling to China in a couple of weeks and was wondering how easy it is to access e-mail accounts such as gmail, yahoo and hotmail. I understand some sites are blocked so I wonder whether I will have any trouble getting into my accounts. I will be between Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong. Any differece between the three places?
