Electronics in luggage (Beijing)

I'm flying to Beijing on Friday; no doubt customs people aren't going to bothered by me bringing my laptop and other personal electronic gadgets, I've even read on this forum that there's no problem bringing an Xbox amongst plane luggage. I want to bring my inkjet printer too, is that OK?
