Importation of cars to China (Beijing)

Dear all,
I'm a diplomat and I'd be interested in taking my car to Beijing. I've heard it's possible but that the car has to comply with national environmental standards.
Does anyone know what are those requirements?
I really need this piece of info before deciding to sell it or not here!
