Ironic Question RE: Voice Acting (Beijing)

The irony of this isn't lost on me....

I am a headhunter Protected content I'm asking about finding a job. At least, a part-time/freelance one. Pretty funny eh? A recruiter who needs help to find work :)

Actually I love the sound of my own voice, and so I am interested in doing 'Voice Actor' work in China. I am willing to try anything, Video Games, TV Voice Overs, Radio, Commercials, Public Service stuff... anything. I'm sure that the competition is tough over here, but like most things in China - it's all about connections, no doubt;

Before you ask - I am definitely too ugly for REAL acting. I've got a face for radio.

I was planning to do some pro-active stuff and reach out to some names I have for people @ CCTV and a couple of Chinese games studios, but if anyone can help or point me in the right direction, or even tell me it's the worst Idea I've ever had, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks fellow Internationers.

Michael
