Packing like a pro (Beijing)

Hello everyone!

I am moving to Beijing in September, and I really want to start getting together the list of things I plan on bringing with me vs the list of things I plan on leaving behind. I'm aware of the basics, i.e clothing, any comfort foods I'll want to have with me as I settle down, photo's of friends and family, possibly even my guitar. What kind of things did you guys bring you? Was there anything unexpected in China that made you wish you had brought that extra something?
