Plans for NYE (31st Dec)? (Beijing)

Hi all,

I'll be visiting Beijing from the 29th of December to the 3rd of January from the UK and was wondering if there was anything going on during this time, especially for New Year's Eve? As I understand it, the 31st isn't widely celebrated over there, but was wondering if anyone might be getting together for a couple of drinks somewhere?

I'd even be happy if you could just meet me for a drink/coffee any other time during my visit!
