For our Industry Sector in Beijing we are looking for a Public Relations and Internal Communications Director (m/f) at the earliest opportunity.
The Public Relations and Internal Communications Director of Industry Sector responsible for overall PR and internal communication (employee and leadership) - professional and disciplinary responsibility for the team members and use of resources
What are my responsibilities?
Working closely with Industry Sector and Divisions management, Division/BU Marcom manager, Region, SLC Corporate Communications and HQ Industry Communications.
Corporate and manage Media, agencies/other suppliers, customers.
Perception of changes, priorities and trends in the general public
Develop the concepts for public relations based on Sector/division strategy, business plan and overall communication strategy.
Responsible for external PR and develop professional PR tools (press conferences, interviews, customer visit, key event and fairs visit, etc.) and media buying process.
Responsible for internal employee & leadership communication, including newsletters, management letter, quarterly video and other internal communication tools
Build up and keep effective media relation
Inspire and motivate the whole team to achieve the highest standards of performance
Overall responsibility for the use of resources and budgets
Development and implementation of measures and programs by selecting, and effective use of various media tools: Publications, Events, TV, Internet / Intranet, etc.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
University degree in journalism, PR, business, marketing, communications or related majors
Several years of experience preferably in a variety of operative and strategic tasks in PR (min. 5 years), ideally in a B2B environment.
Perfect English/Chinese writing and speaking
Advanced knowledge of communications, preferably in Public Relations
Consulting/agency experience is preferred.
Have methodology of project and process management with project leader experience with specialized managerial responsibility
Economic planning & Controlling
Moderation and presentation techniques
Experienced on planning, organization and development of messages.
Good at Brand management
Business and market understanding of target groups, market position and competitors
Thorough knowledge of company strategies, key messages etc.
Advanced knowledge of the media and instruments and their effect and interaction and experienced on agency and supplier management
Have sociopolitical knowledge and good at marketing concepts and tools
