Sightseeing via the Subway (Beijing)

Thanks to Paul giving me a master-class in Subway etiquette I am looking forward to checking out some of the sights Beijing has to offer via the subway.

I have a guide book to hand with some suggestions in it but I would like to hear what you guys would recommend. My starting point would be Line 10, Liangmaquio.

For example, something I am keen to see is the Chinese Military Museum. Am I being really naive when I think that this must be found at the Military Museum subway stop?

Any suggestions and helpful tips would be much appreciated.
