VPN Service in China & Wiring USD internationally (Beijing)

Dear all,

I will moving soon to leave in Beijing for long term. Hence I would love to have access to twitter/facebook, etc. Can any one recommend me a reliable - stable current VPN service provider?

Last, I am planning to open a bank account in HSBC to eventually wire part of my salary overseas. Hence would love to know if any one is using HSBC and your opinion on the service.
