Beirut, October Protected content . War has been going on for ten years and violence has turned into an absurd chaos. Chafic, a literature professor, comments on a passage from “The Plague” by Albert Camus,when a blind bombing strikes the faculty. Chafic and some students took shelter in a small underground chamber where he flirts with an unknown student. This encounter changes his life, but he realizes that finding her again will be a difficult quest, as everything happened in the dark. Chafic embarks in the search of the girl in the jungle of the city. The following days turn out to be a nightmare, and soon, confusion, delirium and fantasy settle in Chafic’s mind..
