Opera Carmen (Beirut)

Carmen: Opera in four acts by the French composer Georges Bizet.

The opera, written in the genre of opéra comique with musical numbers separated by dialogue, tells the story of the downfall of Don José, a naive soldier who is seduced by the wiles of the fiery gypsy Carmen.

I won’t go further describing you this Opera as some might already knew about it while other don’t.

So, for the lovers of Classical music /Opera and even for those who didn’t have yet the opportunity to attend “Carmen Opera” in their life. A live music Opera, performed by "Maroun El Rahy" with the Philharmonic Lebanese Orchestra.

Also, since music of Carmen has been widely acclaimed for its brilliance of melody, harmony, atmosphere and orchestration, it’s my pleasure attending this event with you which will take place this Friday 8th February, at the university of NDU-Zouk Mosbeh, Bechara Al Rahy theater from 7.30pm till 11.30pm.
