trip to Beirut

Hi all,
I´m planning to visit Beirut in September. I´d like to ask you for some feedback and info on how safe it is to travel there these days. I´m a solo traveller. I´m getting a bit confusing recommendations from our and international resources so I thought the best thing would be to ask the locals and people living there:)
