visit to Beirut

Hello!

Am a newbie in Beirut and arriving this Wednesday (22nd) till Sat night. Would love to meet any IN members who are free and also to hear if there are any events going on.

I'm staying in Verdun area and want to visit downtown, Ashrafieh etc..etc.. so happy to meet for coffee as suits or in Gemazaye.

Any tips/advice also welcome - especially do's and dont's! lol
