Visiting Beirut …. Reaching out for suggestions

Planning to pay a visit to Beirut on the 30th July Protected content about one week. I will have to work for three hours each day and then I will be free for the rest of the day. I thought of reaching out to you to hear your suggestions on where to go for Lebanese food and where to go for entertainment. I will also need suggestions for where to stay (ideally, I need be close to Verdun street but that should not constrain me from staying further out).
