Honorable Bank? (Belfast)

Hello, all.
I just arrived a few days ago from Philadelphia, with family in tow. My wife got a nice lecturer position at QUB and I'm searching for a teaching gig. All seems to be going well and we already found a house to rent. We, however, are uncertain as to which local bank to choose. We are modest people, but want a bank that will suit our basic needs. We have a US account that we'd like to switch over to a Belfast one. We also may look into purchasing a home somewhere down the line. I am aware of Santander, which seems like any huge, mega profitable institution. I am curious if any of the local banks might be a little more personable and downright honorable. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
